Here's what I created with the new set:
I stamped the images from the Cuddly Cacti stamp set onto Distress Watercolor paper and then heat embossed them with Simon's Clear embossing powder. I then used my Arteza Real Brush pens and a water brush to color them all in.
I created the background on my first card with Simon's new Harvest Stencil and Distress Oxide inks - just sponging them lightly and keeping most of the color concentrated towards the centre of the stencil.
The "yay" is a CZ Design wafer die that I cut three times from black card stock and stacked together with Multi Medium Matte adhesive.
For my second card I ran my card base through my die cutting machine using the HoneyBee Stacking Hearts wafer dies - and using a tan embossing mat behind the card front so that the dies emboss rather than cut. I then sponged some of the Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink before adhering these little hugging cacti (can you even? Aurgh they're SO cute!!!) with foam tape.
I finished off the insides of the cards with more sentiments from the Cuddly Cacti set and the remaining cacti images and that was it!
