Hey everyone! Well National Coffee Day is nearly over - but I couldn't resist making another coffee-themed card during! If you missed my earlier post and video and HUGE give-away you can check it out below:
So for this card I pulled out another oldie-but-goodie stamp set - Simon Says Stamp's Coffee and Tea stamps:
Aren't these images the cutest? I stamped them onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink and coloured them in with Copic markers.
I also used some of my hoarded DoodleBug Cream & Sugar patterned papers for the paper pieced parts as well as for the card base.
I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Coffee & Tea stamp set onto Simon's Smoke card stock, which was die cut with Honey Bee's Scallop A2 wafer dies.
I finished off the inside of the card with more patterned paper and stamped another sentiment from the Coffee and Tea stamp set and that was it!

Hey everyone!! So today is National Coffee Day, and some of the DT Members with Honey Bee Stamps created coffee-themed cards as Honey Bee Stamps is one of the Super Sponsors of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog!
SO - of course I wanted to play along - AND I decided it was the perfect time to do one of the BIG Give-aways I've been planning for a while!! Info on the giveaway will be at the end of this post!
I pulled out one of my all-time-favorite coffee-themed sets - the Honey Bee Stamps Coffee Break stamp set and coordinating wafer dies and the Perfect Blend set and wafer dies.
I also used my quickly-becoming-a-constant-favorite Scallop A2 wafer dies for my card front and then dry embossed the Stacking Hearts wafer dies into the card stock.
I stamped the to-go cups from the Coffee Break set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with GinaK Amalgam ink and coloured them in with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen, die cut them with the coordinating die, and after assembling my card I coated the hearts in the centre of each cup with Nuvo's Crystal Glaze.
I finished off the inside of the cards with more sentiments from the Perfect Blend stamp set and that was it!

Eeeep!! Isn't this hippo CUTE?!? When Simon Says Stamp released a bunch of new BIG Picture Book Characters to the Picture Book line I did a happy dance LOL! They're so much fun!!
I sponged my card base with Mermaid Lagoon and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks, and adhered my die cut hippo to it after I'd added some highlights and whatnot with a white gel pen.
I stacked the die cut friend sentiment twice, and all the little sentiments were heat embossed using Simon's Tiny Words stamp set and Ranger's Super Fine Detail White embossing powder. The "bubbles" are from the new Studio Katia Clear Drops Mix 2 bag - LOVE!!!
I finished off the inside of the card with another heat embossed sentiment from the Tiny Words set and that was it!

Hello everyone! I'm slowly getting back into everything - I came down with a horrible cold over the weekend and it really threw me for a loop! I'm starting to feel better and need to get a ton of posts and videos up now!
First off - back to my Halloween series!! If you've missed any of them so far here's links to them all:
I created a fun sky background using Distress Oxide Inks along with the Distress Spray Bottle and Black Soot Distress Paint.
All the images are from Simon Says Stamp's new Bwahaha stamp set - I heat embossed the haunted house and fence from the set with Nuvo Glitter Noir embossing powder - the black + glitter EP was PERFECT for a card like this!!
And the sentiment and moon? They glow in the dark:
I used Lawn Fawn's Glow in the Dark embossing powder over the stamped moon and sentiment - so fun!
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment and images from the Bwahaha stamp set and that was it!

Here's the card I made using this Limited Edition set!
Doesn't Art Impressions make THE best people images? I just love them.
I die cut some Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with the largest Honey Bee Stamps Scallop A2 wafer dies (I am OBSESSED with that die set - I reach for it all the time lately). I then stamped these ladies with Simon's Intense Black ink.
I did a ton of Copic colouring on this - all the colors I listed as I used them in the video.
I used MFT's English Brick Wall stencil to create the background with Pumice Stone Distress ink (and realized while doing this that there isn't Pumice Stone Distress OXIDE ink yet - I can't wait for the last release of colors in the Oxides!!! Those will be coming out soon!!). I die cut some brown card stock with Lawn Fawn's Thanks Line Border wafer die, and I used Lawn Fawn's Knit Picky Fall patterned paper on the card base.
On the inside of the card I used the same paper plus one more of the Knit Picky fall papers, and die cut the same brown paper with Lawn Fawn's Gift Card Pop-Up wafer die. On the red paper I stamped the sentiment from the Pumpkin Spice set. So now when you open the card the gift card pops up - fun!

Now for this post's card and video. I'm over on the Honey Bee Stamps blog as a part of a collaboration hop between Honey Bee Stamps and Heffy Doodle Stamps! Just a fun way for companies to get together and the designers to create using products from both companies! We're hopping along on Instagram too so check me out there if you're not following me already!
Here's what I created:
I went on a pink theme and created this VERY pink birthday card LOL!
I first die cut some white card stock with Honey Bee's Scallop A2 Honey Cuts dies (the largest in the set), then sponged on 3 different pink Distress Oxide inks using the Heffy Doodle Numicon stencil.
The cupcakes are from the Heffy Doodle Party Pallooza stamp set. I stamped them with a no-line ink and then coloured them in with Copic markers, added some details with a white gel pen and then die cut them with the coordinating die.
The die cut sentiment was created with Honey Bee's Happy Honey Cuts die, and the "birthday" stamp is from Honey Bee's Celebration Sentiments set and was die cut with one of Honey Bee's Sentiment Banners Honey Cuts wafer dies.
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from Heffy Doodle's Everyday Sentiment Duo's stamp set, and stamped the cupcake image with the Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink and that was it!

This is a 4.25" square card.
I created this fun shaker card using the new Spider Web wafer die along with the coordinating Spider Web Stencil (seriously LOVE how well these work together!) and paired them with these cute monsters from the Monster Bash stamp set!
I stamped the monsters onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink then coloured them in with Copic markers. I added highlights with a white gel pen before die cutting them with their coordinating wafer dies.
I die cut the spider web from black card stock, and used the Spider Web stencil to sponge white ink over it. I then die cut the web from some black glitter card stock that I adhered to the transparency.
I finished off the inside of the card with the little frame that's left over when die cutting the spider web, and added a sentiment and another monster from the Monster Bash stamp set and that was it!

I heat embossed the image onto watercolor paper using Simon's Antique Gold embossing powder, and then watercolored it with AlteNew's watercolors.
I used Studio Katia's Dotted Patterns Set 1 wafer dies to cut out the main image, and stamped one of the sentiments from the Fresh Bunch set with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.
The background was created with Oxide inks and Studio Katia's Brush Stroke Waves stencil - I thought it created a woodgrain sort of pattern!
On the inside of the card I stamped the floral image again - this time with Tumbled Glass Distress ink, then stamped another sentiment from the set with black ink and that was it!

Here's the card I made using this Limited Edition set!
I stamped the balloon images from the Tie One On set onto Distress Watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink. I then watercolored them with my Mission Gold watercolors. I didn't do any masking when I stamped the images and painted everything in layers so that they overlapped and looked like more transparent balloons.
Like I mention in the video: I wasn't happy with this card at first, after the watercoloring was done anyway. But I added some splatter with Picket Fence Distress Paint (when in doubt add splatter! lol), and after adding the sentiments I also adhered a bunch of jewels for some bling and that made me a LOT happier about this card!
I finished off the inside of the card with sentiments from the Tie One On set and that was it!

I stamped it onto Distress watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and watercolored it with Distress inks and a water brush. I then added some more color with Copics (RV02, R22, YR23, RV29, YG17) - which normally I WOULDN'T do when an image is stamped with VersaFine (because VF smears with Copics). However I was rather careful plus not doing any real blending with the Copics so I didn't have any smearing issues - I just don't recommend using VersaFine Onyx Black ink if you're planning on colouring with alcohol-based markers.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the image with Spun Sugar Distress Ink then stamping one of the sentiments from the set and that was it!

Here's the card I made using this Limited Edition set!
I started by first using one of the snowflake stencils from Simon's Frozen Fractals stencil set. These were released a while ago (they're still available and I have a link to them with the rest of the supplies) but I just had to use them - they're so pretty! To make it easier to work with I sprayed the stencil with repositionable adhesive before sticking it on to my card front and sponging Distress Oxide Inks over it.
The 2 main images from the Winter Is Here set were stamped onto Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink then coloured in with Copic markers.
I also stamped the small snowflakes and the solid heart image from the set with the same Oxide inks I used to do the sponging.
I finished off the inside of the card with the remaining sentiment from the set then stamped the images with Oxide inks and that was it!

Hey everyone!! It's been a crazy couple of days, coupled with having no internet (it took some string-pulling but it was installed today!!) AND waiting for the mail to be delivered that contained this week's exclusive collabs for STAMPtember®!! Here's the card I created with this set:
I white heat embossed the outline floral from the Dainty Sprig set onto Distress watercolor card stock and then watercolored them with Distress Oxide inks and my detail water brush. After it was dry I mixed a little water with some Perfect Pearl powder and splattered that over it for some extra shimmer.
The "hello" die cut was stacked 3 times and then I sponged Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks onto it. The "sweet friend" is a stamp in the Dainty Sprig set and I white heat embossed that onto black card stock that I then die cut with one of Simon's Sentiment Labels wafer dies.
I inked up the floral image with the Oxide inks for the inside of the card then stamped another sentiment from the Dainty Sprig set with Simon's Intense Black ink and that was it!

I have a strong feeling this one will sell out super fast as well - it's adorable and people have been asking when the Mama Elephant set was coming (fellow hoarders unite!!).

I made a card for this set and also experimented with a new-to-me embossing powder while I was at it:
I stamped some of the images from the Merry Mail stamp set onto Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink, coloured them in with Copics and added highlights with my Gelly Roll white gel pen.
The "merry" sentiment and the clouds were stamped with Simon's clear embossing ink then heat embossed with Hero Arts White Puff embossing powder. It's basically Liquid Applique in embossing powder form! Really fun to play with and I need to experiment more with it!
The die cuts are all from Mama Elephants On the Hills wafer die set - I used them to create my little scene that Santa is dropping all the gifts on to!
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment and more of the stitched clouds and a couple more of the stamped images and that was it!

I combined an oldie-but-goodie Honey Bee Stamps set - Little Pickup, with the Hey, Pumpkin! stamp set and the newer Bee Bold Alphabet wafer dies to make my card.
I clear heat embossed the Little Pickup and the pumpkins onto Distress Watercolor card stock after stamping them with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I quickly coloured them in with my Arteza Real Brush Pens and a water brush before letting them dry and die cutting them with the coordinating dies.
The background was created with one of the Honey Bee Ocean Scene stencils and Carved Pumpkin Distress ink. I used the same ink to sponge the bottom of the die cut letters that I stacked with 2 layers to give them a bit more dimension.
I finished off the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Hey, Pumpkin! stamp set and a couple of the pumpkins from the Little Pickup set and that was it!
