I made 4 cards with the Simon Says Stamp August 2018 card kit! I also used the PinkFresh Liquid Watercolors that I showed and used in yesterday's post - tho in reality these cards were my first attempt using them.
I clear heat embossed the Modern Rose Blooms background stamp onto Distress Watercolor paper and then applied some of the liquid watercolors as a wash. REALLY easy and the colors just blend together so beautifully.
I stamped the images from the Mandy's Flower Shed stamp set onto Distress Watercolor paper with Simon's Intense Black Ink and watercolored them in with the liquid watercolors as well. After everything was dry I added highlights with a white gel pen and a bit of sparkle here and there with a Stardust pen.
For these 2 cards I used some of the Bo Bunny Early Bird patterned papers that come in the kit. Both the watercolor backgrounds and these patterned papers were die cut with Simon's biggest Wonky Rectangle wafer dies to get that fun stitched edge.
I adhered everything with my Xyron tape runner and popped all the main images up with Simon's Foam Tape, then added the Bubblegum Blush Nuvo drops that come in the kit as my final embellishment.
I finished off the insides of the cards with more of the patterned papers and that was it!
