Hello everyone! It's the 5th of the month which means Waffle Flower has a new release!
You can check out the newest stamps and dies HERE <------click!
AND to celebrate the release I'm part of a fun blog hop today!
If you didn't get here from the Waffle Flower blog don't worry - I'll have links to all the stops on today's hop! Also make sure you stay tuned till the end of the post as there's giveaway info as well!
I used the new Spice Garden stamp set and coordinating dies to make my cards for today:
This is SUCH a pretty set - it's illustrated by Helen Dardik who also designed the WF Bouquet Builder 1 set that I loved so much!
I white heat embossed the images onto Bristol Smooth card stock, and then sponged various Distress Oxide Inks over them before die cutting them with the coordinating dies.
I sponged Distress Oxide inks on to my card bases as well and added some splatter with the inks and water before letting that dry then adding my die cut images on top with foam squares. I added a simple sentiment from the set with black ink then added some Studio Katia Sparkling Clear Crystals to finish them off.
On the insides of the cards as well as on coordinating envelopes I stamped the same images from each card with the same Distress Oxide inks I used to sponge on the color. I stamped everything then stamped a second time without re-inking the stamp to get the variation, and that was it!
To see how these cards came together check out my video below:

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
