Hey everyone!
This week's Color Throwdown Challenge just went up:
You can check out what the rest of the team created HERE <------click! and play along if you'd like!
Here's what I came up with:
I pulled out (surprise surprise) the Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers stamp set to make my card. I honestly had other stamps and dies pulled out to create with using these colors - but this wet was just BEGGING to be inked up again LOL!
I stamped the large floral image onto Bristol Smooth card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink then watercolored it in with Distress Oxide inks. I show in the video how I fixed the mess I made after I smeared the splatters I'd created. I'm actually glad in the end that I did that as it made me go through my border dies and pulled out a couple that I hadn't used in some time. I used Simon's Sunrise Border die with SSS Lemon Chiffon card stock, and the Painted Friend die with the Surf Blue Cardstock.
I also added some bling with Studio Katia's Iridescent Hearts and Iridescent Crystals.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the large floral with Simon's Surf Blue ink then stamping a sentiment from the set and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube.

Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home and provide for my children! I appreciate your support more than words can say! I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
