OK on to my cards:
I created a couple of really fun backgrounds using Distress Oxide inks on Ranger Glossy paper using Distress Micro Glaze to bring out all the detail!
I wanted watery looking backgrounds so that I could have these new Summer Cuddly Critters "floating" in the water for the cards. Are these images not adorable?
I stamped the critters and the companion images onto Neenah Classic Crest 80lb card stock with Simon's Intense Black ink then coloured them all in with Copics. I added highlights with a white gel pen, and shimmer with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen. I coated the sunglasses and hearts and beach ball with Crystal Glaze, and added several Nuvo Crystal Drops to my background.
I used a TON of Copics to color in all the images LOL!
I finished off the insides of the cards by stamping the main images and bubbles with Distress Oxide Inks and then stamped sentiments with the Intense Black ink and that was it!
