Hellooooo everyone! I'm literally coming in under the wire with another couple of Easter cards - I REALLY wanted to use the new Simon Says Stamp Doodle Egg Background stamp AND I've had this Giveaway planned so I've been scrambling to get everything done!
First off, this week's Color Throwdown Challenge:

So here's what I created:
I made 2 cards using this color combo and the Simon Says Stamp Doodle Egg Background stamp along with a few other SSS stamps and dies and stencil.
For my first card I heat embossed the background onto Distress watercolor card stock with white embossing powder, then "smooshed" Distress Inks onto it. I heat embossed a sentiment from the Easter Greetings stamp set onto some GinaK Sweet Mango card stock. The bunny is from the same Easter Greetings stamp set and I stamped him onto Distress Watercolor card stock with SSS Stone ink then used the same Distress Inks and a water brush to color him in.
For my second card I started out with another heat embossed background on Distress Watercolor card stock and then sponged the same Distress Inks over it using Simon's Waves & Hills Stencil. I used the new Topside Bunny wafer die which I added a little pom pom to for his tail and a pink crystal for his nose.
I finished the insides of the cards with the same bunnies I used on the outsides along with stamped and heat embossed sentiments and that was it!
