Hello everyone! This is a long post, a long video and there's a giveaway too!!
I'm racing the clock (as usual) with Easter this weekend but I am determined to keep creating and posting (nothing like having ideas for next year right? That's what I'm telling myself anyway). I have so many new-to-me products here and the ideas are just rolling.
Speaking of I made 4 Easter cards with a bunch of the new Pretty Pink Posh goodies that I got last week:
My main focus was the new Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 stamp set and all the new Jewels that Pretty Pink Posh released - I am LOVING all the new jewels (of course - if it's bling then Amy likey lol). I also love the Sparkle Dot patterns stamp sets - Pretty Pink Posh released the first set a few months ago (I have ideas for that one too - will have to make cards and a video with it at a later date) and then just released the 2nd set with their March release.
For my first card I kept it simple and just stamped the large egg image from the Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 stamp set onto white card stock. I then used several of the new jewels packs to fill in the dots and made them into a pattern of sorts. To finish off the card I ran some pink card stock through my Xyron Creative Station Lite and then die cut it 3 times with the new PPP Happy Easter Script wafer die and stacked them together before adhering to my card front.
For my second card I used the smaller egg image from the Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 stamp set and stamped it 3 times onto some Distress watercolor card stock. I then watercolored over that with 3 different colors of distress ink. I like how that defined the shape and added some background color. I used jewels in coordinating colors to fill in the eggs.
The bunnies are from the new PPP Bunny Friends stamp set - I stamped them onto Distress watercolor card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I then used those 3 same Distress Inks to watercolor in all the images.
To create card #3 I used the new PPP Decorative eggs wafer die and die cut some light purple card stock that I stamped the small egg image from the Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 set onto. I then filled it in with the 2 shades of purple PPP jewels.
My final card probably took the longest but it was SO fun to make. I stamped the long border stamp from the Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 stamp set onto white card stock multiple times to fill an entire background. After filling it with the jewels in almost all the colors I added the layer that I'd die cut with the new Happy Easter Shaker wafer die. I used the same distress inks to watercolor the die cut, then inlaid it back into the main piece and popped it on top of the jewelled background with foam tape.
I finished the insides of all the cards with sentiments from the new PPP Encouraging Greetings stamp set and the remaining bunnies and flowers and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
