Hey everyone! So yesterday I posted a couple of baby cards and today it's graduation cards (they grow up so fast don't they LOL):
Crazy thing is is the card on the right is the one I'd made and filmed a month ago now - and that was the video I was editing when my laptop crashed and I lost all the footage (as well as several other videos). I finally got a chance to re-make and re-film everything and made the card on the left.
The grad cap image is from Honey Bee Stamps Penny the Platypus stamp set and was the focus for these cards. I stamped the image multiple times onto black card stock and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder before die cutting them all out with the coordinating wafer die.
I used Spectrum Noir's Onyx Black sparkle pen on the caps - you can see the shimmer in the pics but in the video the sparkle REALLY shows up.
I used Black Soot Distress Oxide ink on the background, sponging it over Bristol Smooth card stock and splattering it with water.
On the inside of the cards I stamped sentiments from the Congrats Grad sentiment set from Honey Bee and added the grad caps to finish them off.

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
