It's Friday!! I still have a cold (it's worse - ugh) - BUT I haven't lost my voice (yet anyway - really hoping that this time it doesn't happen) so I got this video edited and uploaded for y'all.
I pulled out my Mission Gold watercolors and the Pretty Pink Posh Wild Rose stamp set and did some watercoloring the other night. I also used my Fine Tec Pearlescent Colors to add shimmer to all the flowers and leaves - I am OBSESSED with the Fine Tec palettes - they're so gorgeous (if you don't want to splurge on them you can achieve a similar effect to these with Ranger's Perfect Pearls powder in Perfect Pearl and just mix with a little water).
I don't find myself using embossing folders often when card making, but the two that came in the Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit I LOVE. They're such a great texture and "generic" pattern in my opinion that they work with just about anything. I wasn't able to capture it on camera but I sprayed the Distress Watercolor card stock with a shimmer spray I'd made with Tonic's Nuvo Platinum Embellishment Mousse (any of their embellishment mousse's you can mix with water and create sprays with). It creates the most subtle shimmer - when you turn the card in natural light you can see it and it's so pretty but not overwhelming.
I popped all the flowers and leaves up with foam tape, and stacked the sentiments with 3 layers of card stock. Both sentiments are from Pretty Pink Posh - I die cut them multiple times from black card stock and stacked them for the extra weight and dimension.
I used Studio Katia's Onyx and Silver Foil Crystals and added them to the flower centres and on the card front. I reach for the Onyx Crystals all the time and the Silver Foil ones have almost a mirror finish to them which is gorgeous in real life!
I finished off the insides of the cards with sentiments from the Pretty Pink Posh Thoughtful Greetings stamp set and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
