Oh Monday. I'm still fighting this cold (it doesn't help that we've been in the middle of a cold snap here) BUT my voice is still hanging on!! That's a huge improvement as EVERY time the last couple of years that I got a cold I lost my voice. Makes it rather rough when I do videos with voiceovers for a living.....ugh.
Anywho - I just HAD to ink up one of Lawn Fawn's newer sets that has been sitting on my desk for weeks now. Why I tend to hoard all things Lawn Fawn and not use them is beyond me. They make the cutest things and I neeeddd to own all of them LOL!
These are 4.25 x 4" cards.
These turned out even cuter than what I was picturing in my head LOL! I used Lawn Fawn's Rawr mini stamp set, and coloured the dino's in two different color combos.
I decided to make them into heart shaped cards since the largest dies in the Lawn Fawn Lacy Heart Stackables and Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables were more than big enough for standalone cards.
I stamped the onto Neenah 80lb Classic Crest Solar White card stock with MFT's Extreme Black ink and coloured them in with my Copic markers. I added white details with my white gel pen, and used my black glaze pen on the eyes (to make them pop but also to fix a boo-boo lol).
To create my scenes I used Lawn Fawn's Palm Trees dies and created the "sand" with the Simple Stitched Hillside Border, and die cut the top portion from LF's Watercolor Wishes patterned paper.
I added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the hearts and the spines on the dino's and some Nuvo Gloss White accents to finish them off.
I created the heart shaped cards by scoring the card stock then running it through my Gemini Junior with the largest Outside In Stitched Heart Stackables die - making sure the top of the die was just slightly above the score line. I love that the stitching went through the top layer and onto the inside as well! It just gave it that little something extra.
I stamped the sentiment from the Rawr set onto the insides of the cards and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
