Hello everyone! Not only did I get a chance to play with the new Simon Says Stamp February Card Kit but I also got my Gemini Junior die cutting machine set up and used it for the first time (initial thoughts are it's pretty great!) and made a card:
I pulled out Simon's Stacked Hearts wafer die - it was released a couple of years ago and is still one of my favourites. I ran it through my Gemini Junior 3 times and stacked them together for dimension. I used one of the patterned papers from the kit for my card front, and adhered the Stacked Hearts die cut to it.
The sentiment is from the new Crafty Friends stamp set that comes in the kit, I heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder onto some of the Audrey Blue card stock from the kit.
I also stamped several of the images from the set onto the envelope with SSS's Slate ink just to dress it up.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping another of the sentiments with the same ink and adding a strip of the patterned paper I used on the front.
There's this great "handmade by" stamp in the Crafty Friends stamp set that I used to stamp on the back of the card, and I stamped the flap of the envelope with another image from the set and that was it!
