I made it!!! 25 videos and JUST under the wire too LOL! Not to mention this one ends with a GIVEAWAY too (stay tuned to the end of the post!!).
I had so many people asking when I would use the new Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Characters that were released the beginning of December. I've had them sitting on my desk just waiting to be cut out and I thought why not put them all in sweaters? I just got my hands on the Lawn Fawn Knit Picky 6x6 papers, and they were just too perfect for making sweaters for my moose and hippo and polar bear!
I used more patterned papers to create my background as well as the speech bubble (I am loving SSS's Nested Talk Bubbles die set) and the sentiment is from an older die set from SSS. I didn't use ANY ink or stamps to make this card. All card stock and patterned paper and wafer dies!
Also FYI - if you don't have a ton of colors of card stock (unlike me - I have tons and I save all my scraps even tiny ones b/c I end up die cutting them all at some point) you can just use ink or markers to color white or light card stock in the colors you need. Easy peasy ;).
To finish off the inside of the card I die cut another of the Knit Picky papers with the largest SSS Wonky Rectangles die, then used Lawn Fawns Simple Gift Card Slots die to cut the notches. I had this cute sweater gift card that was perfect to pair with this card. So I slipped that into place and that was it!
