Hello everyone! Tooth update - I'm on pretty strong antibiotics (and painkillers) and have a root canal scheduled for next week. I just need to survive another week and it'll all be over. I'm managing for the most part - it's definitely not easy taking care of 4 kids and a house and work and alllllll the things when it feels like an ice pick is being jammed in one's head. However there's light at the end of the tunnel! So I'll keep plodding along - speaking of which:
I have another card and video AND giveaway for y'all! Giveaway details are at the end of the post!
Now that the Christmas card-making season has come to a close it's time to start my Valentine's Card series:
I pulled out Honey Bee Stamps Little Pickup stamp set and coordinating die set to make this card. The set has a bunch of different items to "fill" the back of the truck with - including this stack of hearts.
I stamped all the images onto Bristol Smooth card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink then heat embossed them with Nuvo Clear embossing powder. I then used my Distress Oxide inks and a water brush to color them all in.
I used Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink and sponged it onto the card base, and then I used one of the stencils from Honey Bee's Ocean Scene Builder over it, and wiped another blending tool over it that had been sprayed with water. That's how i was able to create the rays look.
The sentiments are from the Sending You Sentiments set and I stamped them with Versafine Onyx Black ink and Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry and Candied Apple.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping more sentiments from the Sending You Sentiments set, added the pickup of course, and adhered a few of the die cut hearts and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
