Hey everyone! I'm back yet again with another card(s) and video AND there's a giveaway at the end of the post! I'm still celebrating me passing 60,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel and while my tooth issues and all the pain has thrown everything in the air time-wise - I'm still moving forward!
I FINALLY got a chance to dive in to Simon's January card kit - and couldn't resist pairing it with a couple of older wafer dies and one brand new die set:
I used Simon's Heart of Flowers wafer die and die cut three of the card stocks that come in the kit. I also used the second largest Basic Rectangles die, then backed them with black card stock.
I used three of the patterned papers from the kit, ran them through my Xyron Creative Station to apply adhesive to the backs of them then die cut them with the Heart of Flowers wafer die.
I then inlaid all those patterned paper and card stock die cuts into the the open areas on all the card fronts.
I added Nuvo Glaze to all the centres of the flowers (watch the video to see how that turned out and how I fixed it LOL) and coated them with the Vintage Platinum glitter that came in the kit - SO pretty and sparkly in real life.
The "i love you" die cut is from Simon's new Friends release (I did 2 separate Release & Review videos on that HERE and HERE in case you missed them!). I ran white card stock through my Creative Station Lite and then die cut them multiple times with the I Love You wafer die, stacked them 3 each and stuck them to my card fronts.
I used the new Really Like You stamp set that comes in the kit on the inside of the cards, along with Delicata's Pink Shimmer ink cube (also in the kit) and Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
