Happy Saturday everyone! A quick FYI that I've updated my Sales & Coupons page <-----click! with all the current sales at my favourite crafty shops!
OK now on to the card:
When I got the Honey Bee Stamps Snow Birds set, I immediately thought about creating a card like this one. The little bird image here and the outline image in the set to make it look like a snow angel made me want to create a card that would look like actual snow.
I recently got my hands on some Prima Snowflake Paste - I mention in the video that mine sat frozen in the postal box for a weekend. Of course it was when it hit close to -30C too. So I'm positive it altered the texture of this paste (other people have commented saying theirs is more "fluffy") and made it gummy. However it still worked and I was still able to create this card LOL!
I stamped and embossed the bird onto watercolour paper and watercolored him in with my Gansai Tambi watercolours. I used the coordinating die to cut him out and popped him in the "snow" with an action wobble so he twists back and forth just like he's making a snow angel :D :D :D.
The sentiments are from the Season's Tweetings set from Honey Bee - there's several more bird images in that set with larger sentiments.
I had stamped and watercolored another bird for the inside of the card, along with sentiments from the Snow Birds set and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the products have little icons below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. You can hover over the icons and it will tell you what store that link will take you to. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
