After a TON of messages, comments, e-mails etc about the Tonic Spooktacular Coffin Treat Box die set that I showed in my last haul video - I was able to get the bases cut!
You definitely need a larger die cut machine (something A4 or larger) to be able to cut the box die out. Vickie contacted me and owns a Spellbinders Grand Caliber machine and was able to lend it to me for a night. I cut out several bases and made several Coffin Treat Boxes:
Eeeekkk! Aren't these FUN?
I used my Big Shot machine to die cut all the decorative pieces - I added a metal shim to my die cutting "sandwich" just to make all the intricate cuts.
I filmed the process of me making these, and showed 2 ways to put these boxes together. There's the "original" way and a second way that opens differently.
I had SO much fun making these - and they're so simple really. All die cutting and gluing together. I forgot to mention in the video that these could easily be jazzed up with Nuvo Crystal drops, googly eyes, etc etc just to make them even more jazzy.
FYI the video is quite long - I never realized how much footage there was till it was time to edit - and I didn't want to cut any of it out (other than as much of the sniffling as possible. This bronchitis is still holding on and it sucks).

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
