Hellooooooo everyone! I had SO much fun making these quick and cute halloween light up "haunted" houses:
Aren't they fun?
They don't have to light up either. They're perfect for filling with little treats or a gift card (and little treats lol).
I used Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Treat Box Lawn Cuts die to make all the boxes, cutting the pieces from the Booville Petite Prints 12x12 patterned paper. FYI you can easily get 4 cuts from one 12x12 piece - so 2 treat boxes per sheet of patterned paper.
I then used the Scalloped Treat Box Haunted House Add-On Lawn Cuts die set to make them all into "haunted" houses. I kept all 3 really simple, just the patterned paper boxes (that came together in no time - I used my Xyron Mega Runner with the 1/4" adhesive refill as I find that adhesive works great to hold everything together), and the card stock die cuts.
I cut windows into the boxes with the dies from the Add-On set, and then backed them with pieces of vellum.
To make them light up, you can either use LED tea lights (DO NOT use actual tea lights - fire and paper are not a good combination - unless your intent is to use them as kindling in an actual fire....), or strings of LED lights. I show both in the video and link to a couple of good options in the supplies below!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
