Hey everyone!
I made this fun shaker card using Honey Bee Stamps and Honey Cuts dies for my video for them this week:
I created the background with HB's Ocean Borders stamp set by heat embossing it onto some Bristol Smooth card stock and smoothing several different Distress Inks onto it.
I then trimmed it down to A2 size and die cut it with the largest HB A2 Double Stitched Frames Honey Cuts Dies to create my frame for the shaker as well as the background.
I stamped the mermaid and turtle from the HB Swimming By set onto Bristol Smooth card stock and watercolored them with my Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. I then added some shimmer to the mermaid with my Sakura Glitter Gelly Roll pen.
The mermaid is suspended from the foam tape under the frame with nylon thread which is nearly impossible to see. So she shakes around a bit with the rest of the sequins in the card.
The sentiment was stamped onto the transparency with Stazon Cotton Ball opaque ink - I couldn't for the life of me get a good picture of it.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the mermaid with a couple of the Distress Inks I'd used on the front of the card then stamping the sentiment from the Swimming By set and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself!
