I'm the hostess for this week's Color Throwdown challenge:

Here's what I came up with:
I used Simon Says Stamp's new Artsy Fruits stamp set to create my own patterned paper with their newest ink colors along with a couple others. I then had to add some splatter (of course) with my Black Soot Distress ink and a paintbrush.
My little watermelon character is from SSS's Funny Food stamp set. He got stamped with SSS Intense Black ink then coloured in with Copic markers then I dolled him up a little with a white gel pen and my Pilot Envelope Addressing pen.
The sentiment was die cut from black and white card stocks with the Script Thanks die set, then to "complete" the sentiment I embossed part of the companion sentiment from the Funny Food set onto the vellum tag with Wow Primary Ebony embossing powder.
I finished off the inside of the card with another stamped and coloured in watermelon character and the full sentiment from the Funny Food set and that was it!
