I had the hardest time deciding what to make for my post - so many cute images to choose from. I decided I needed to ink up the new Summer Friends set and make a couple cards with it right off the bat though as PPP's little people images just get me:
I stamped all the images from the Summer Friends stamp set onto Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and coloured them all in with (a bunch of) Copics.
I used the coordinating die set to die cut all the images, and also stamped, coloured and die cut the sun from the Fly a Kite set. I also added little dots and highlights and whatnot with my white gel pen. It's amazing how much that adds!
I used Bristol Smooth card stock to create my card bases, and used the largest PPP Stitched Diamonds die - turning it sideways before die cutting the front of each card.
After doing that I sponged on 3 different colors of Distress Oxide ink to create my "beach scene" and sprayed it with water to get the fun splatter look.
I adhered the die cut piece to the inside of the card, and then glued on a couple of the die cut images to finish off the scenes I created before stamping the sentiments and (of course) adding some sequins from the new Sunny Days Sequins mix.
