Hope y'all have a cuppa coffee for this one - it's a long post and a long video LOL!
I think I made these cards a couple of weeks ago now - I honestly can't remember exactly. I wanted to play around some more with watercolour, and wanted to do some heat embossing, and I've had this Altenew Adore You stamp set sitting here for some time now so this was the end result!
I stamped and embossed ALL the images from the stamp set onto Ranger watercolour paper with VersaMark ink and then used one of 3 different embossing powders.
For these 2 cards I used Wow's Super Fine Primary Ebony embossing powder - I normally avoid using black embossing powder at all costs (it gets everywhere and just annoys me) but I'd got this container in one of the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kits and I've used it several times now and actually don't mind it LOL!
I used Ranger's Super Fine Detail White powder for these cards - there's so much detail in these images that the super/ultra fine powders are small enough not to turn it all into a blob.
I added gold splatter to all these cards with my Prima Metallic watercolour set (I made these before I got all those gorgeous FineTec palettes - regardless tho this Prima set is really good and the price point is great IMO).
For the gold embossed images I used Rangers Super Fine Detail Gold embossing powder - honestly it's a trickier powder to use IMO. B/c it's so fine it doesn't melt and get smooth and shiny like most powders - you really need to pay attention when melting it and it tends to take longer than other powders - that's been my experience anyway!
It captured all the detail in these images so well though!
I kept all the insides of the card really simple and just adhered strips of the same patterned paper that I'd used on the front of the card, then added one of the flowers and leaves and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased.
