SSS Lucky to Know You | Inking Vellum | Color Throwdown Challenge 434

Hey everyone! Like I mention in the video I've been sick most of this week, my kids have been fighting off this horrible cold as well (so much worse when they're not feeling well either), so my creative "energy" is pretty much non-existent!

However I was able to get a card made for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge:

Here's what I made:

I created my own striped patterned paper with the SSS Diagonal Stripes background stamp, my MISTI and my SSS Intense Black ink. LOL I still prefer just using purchased patterned paper (it's more convenient!) however this is definitely an option for those that like creating their own (plus then you could make it in any color you wanted  - the beauty of stamping!).

I struggled with this card, and show in the video how I ended up salvaging what was turning into a hot mess LOL. 

I finished off the inside of the card with the "leftover" patterned paper and a sentiment from the new Handlettered Encouragement stamp set and that was it!
