Hey everyone! It feels like it's been forever since I've made a card! I've had more than the usual on my plate the last few weeks - it's been a struggle to say the least. Anywho - this weeks Color Throwdown Challenge is a great one:
You can check out the post on the CTD blog HERE <------click! to see what the rest of the team created as well as play along if you'd like!
Here's what I created:
I used the new MFT Sketched Blooms 2 stamp set along with some Distress Inks and did some stamping and loose watercoloring, and a little splattering too of course.
The Friend die cut and the stamped and embossed sentiment were both sponged with the same Distress inks so that the colors coordinated effortlessly.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the flowers and stems again but this time I stamped them with the same Distress inks I used on the front of the card and that was it!
To see how this card came together check out my video below:
I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
Items marked with an asterisk (*) have been sent by a store/manufacturer (with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love). Everything else I purchase myself!
My Favorite Things February release is LIVE!! You can check it all out HERE <-----click! on MFT's website, or I have links to the individual products on MFT's and SSS's website below!

Hello everyone! I haven't been posting much on here lately - the kids have been sick and I have been fighting off getting sick myself. So if I sound tired in the video it's because I really am! I wanted to get this video filmed though to share with you all the fabulous cards that were sent to me last month!
