This is a 5.5" Square Card
I had SOOOOO much fun making this card! Barring the small complication of losing one of the stamped and coloured unicorns (I went on about it on my Twitter when it happened - thinking by some cosmic reason it would show up) in my office (which is tiny and the floor is clean!). I still have NO idea where it went - the kids even came in and got on the floor to help look and it's nowhere to be found. So I stamped and coloured a new one before resuming filming - and I bet the lost one will turn up at the most random time in the most obvious of places.
Anywho - I created this super fun shaker card using Lawn Fawn's Winter Unicorn stamp set and the Doodlebug Kitten Smitten patterned papers. I did a little trick I learned from Jennifer Mcguire for shaker cards here and that was to use nylon thread to "attach" the stamped image to the inside of the shaker. That way it can still shake around but it's not floating loose on the inside and ending upside down or anything.
I wasn't going to make the card near this big (5.5" square) but I remembered I had these gorgeous metallic pink envelopes that Paper-Garden.ca sent me last week that are 6" square. So I made my card 5.5" so that it would fit nicely inside the envelope - I also show at the end of the video what I would do to protect this card if you were to mail it and didn't want it getting damaged.
I kept the Copic colouring really simple (thank goodness - so I wasn't too put out having to stamp and color another one LOL!).
I added that second unicorn to the inside of the card along with the left over strips of patterned paper and stamped the (and a unicorn) sentiment with a light pink ink and that was it!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
Items marked with an asterisk (*) have been sent by a store/manufacturer (with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love). Everything else I purchase myself!
