I did some experimenting yesterday while the littles were napping - and it was one of those times where everything worked out LOL!
I pulled out my Prima silver and gold vellums and heat embossed 2 different Hero Arts backgrounds (Hand Drawn Snowflakes and Holiday Florals) onto them with silver and gold embossing powders.
As you can see the result was gorgeous!
I mulled over how I would adhere the vellum to my card, and rather than painstakingly add little dots of Multi Medium Matte adhesive behind the embossing (so that it wouldn't show through) - I went with my old standby. I ran both pieces through my Xyron Creative Station Lite with the permanent adhesive cartridge and coated the back of each piece entirely with adhesive. That way there aren't any marks showing through and there's no chance it will come off the card base.
I decided to try out the same method for the die cut sentiments and it worked like a charm!!
For the insides of the cards I did what I'm obsessed with again lately LOL - stamping the large joy then brushing over it with Perfect Pearls powder. It was difficult to get a decent picture of the grey card - in real life the joy looks like gunmetal silver. The gold almost looks foiled - LOVE!

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased.
