Hello everyone! I'm SO excited to share with y'all the big reveal that Simon Says Stamp just unveiled a few hours ago! Several brands have come together in the industry to release this "Masterpiece Box" with a variety of stamp sets and dies that won't be available for individual purchase for several more weeks/months!
I can't even being to imagine the coordinating and work that Heidi put in behind the scenes to pull this off (word is she's been working on this all year - and I believe it - coordinating across this many brands and releases and whatnot would be a ton of work!) but I think it's totally worth it! This Masterpiece Box is LIMITED EDITION (meaning once it sells out it's not being restocked and people will have to wait to purchase the items on their actual release date) and features 15 different products from 10 manufacturers and retails for 199.99.
I have a few of these new sets and have a couple of cards to share with y'all right now, and then stay tuned for an awesome blog hop tomorrow!
I decided to use the new Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs set (I was SO excited to receive that - I had it in my cart to pre-order it LOL!) - which FYI *** SSS started taking pre-orders for the Tim Holtz Crazy Dog stamps last week. Since this stamp set is included in the box, anyone who purchased the box can cancel their pre-order for the stamp set.***
I ended up making 2 cards with it just colouring the dogs with 2 different colors of Distress Ink.
I HAD to add googly eyes to the dogs - and just looking at them makes me smile LOL! The "define normal" sentiment is from Tim Holtz Crazy Talk stamp set - it was too perfect for these cards.
I finished off the inside by stamping the images with the same Distress Inks that I'd used to watercolour in the images for the front and added another sentiment from the Crazy Talk set and that was it!
