Hello hello everyone! It's my turn to host this week's Color Throwdown challenge - so make sure to head on over to the Color Throwdown blog for all the info and to see what the rest of the team came up with for this color challenge:
Aren't these colors and inspiration image SOOOO pretty?
Here's the card I made:
I created a watercolour style background with a piece of acetate/transparency and 4 different colors of distress ink. I then die cut 3 layers of card stock with Paper Smooches Adorable Array die and stacked them before coating them with my Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Brush.
I show in the video that I originally stamped and embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder - but in the end didn't like how it looked so I removed it and re-did it with black embossing powder instead (which I rarely use b/c black EP is the messiest stuff to deal with - however using it on vellum gives a fabulous result and doesn't cling to vellum like it does on regular card stock).
I finished off the inside with a sentiment from the same Paper Smooches Fun & Flirty stamp set stamped with the Distress Inks and that was it!
