Hey all! It's me again - be prepared for a LOT of posts/videos over the next few days!
Anywho - I just got this sale info in an e-mail and hopped on here to share this post with y'all - b/c while I share all the sale info I come across on my Facebook page I know a lot of you aren't on Facebook page so I'm trying to get better at sharing that info with you here when I can (sometimes deals are too limited in time/supply for me to share on here - that's why the "instant" sharing on my Facebook page works so much better).
Woot woot! Save 20% on MFT's Die-namics <------click! Fill up your cart then use the code DIES and you're good to go (and don't forget there's the free with $60 Die-namics and free shipping (or a shipping discount if you're international) on orders over $75).
I get asked a LOT where to start with MFT's Die-namics - and it's a loaded question for me. For starters I have a "need to own it all" mentality, and secondly I was on MFT's Design Team and worked for them for a couple of years so I own a LOT of the Die-namics already.
Here's a few of my absolute favourites tho:
Any of their Blueprints Die-namics are fabulous - so many possibilities with those sets. There's a lot to choose from so I narrowed it down to a couple of favorites:
Blueprints 14 - I LOVE the flower and vine in this set. I've made a lot of cards with it, and I love that it's orientated for square cards, which I don't make that often so this set encourages me to get out of my creative box more often.
Blueprints 15 - the angled panel dies in this set are fabulous - no need to mess around with finicky cutting. It also includes some fun tabs and other elements to dress up your cards.
Blueprints 26 - great big balloons - need I say more? LOL! I love this set - SO many fun ways to use it plus it includes the word dies too which can be used for so many birthday cards on their own.
Speaking of word dies - I've said it before that I'm a sucker for them and I can never have enough - I have a "thing" for sentiments and die cut ones are just icing on the cake for me:
Happy Hellos - this set is I think one of the first set of word dies I ever got and it got me hooked.
High Rise Uppercase Alphabet - I can't even count how many times I've used this set. It's my "go-to" die set when creating name banners and the one I reach for the most when personalizing cards for people (especially cards for my kids).
Hello Beautiful and Absolutely Fabulous - I love the mix of fonts on these dies - it gives them more versatility so you can use one word with a stamped sentiment or vice versa. LOVE these and I hope MFT does more of them!
Fishtail Flags and Fishtail Flags Layers - I use those sets a LOT. Perfect for elements on cards and of course perfect for sentiments - probably some of my most-used die sets ever.
Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 - same as the Fishtail Flags sets I use these circle dies a lot as well. Pretty much all you'll ever need for circles!
Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX - I use these every time I make a banner - of which I've made quite a few over the past few years. They're great for cards too - I just tend to use them for banners!
Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX - LOVE this set. If you've already got some basics and want something different the wonky stitched Die-namics are fun - I personally reach for either the rectangle or circle ones the most, but there are also square and oval sets as well.
Let It Snowflake - another oldie-but-goodie that I've had for so long I can't remember. I still reach for this set when making winter/Christmas cards. It's just a perfect little snowflake set.
Jungle Friends - I ADORE this set - it's just too cute and I love that the dies are totally stand alone and not meant to cut out stamped images - it just makes them so fun.
Coffee Cup - of course I had to include this one!
So there's my shortened-as-much-as-possible list of favourites - I could add a LOT more but some of them are out of stock and I also didn't want to post a crazy overwhelming list. And then you wonder why I have a gotta have it all mentality? ;) ;)
