Hey everyone! I'm popping on here again to share a banner I'd made a while ago, then forgot the pictures on my computer :P. Since MFT's Die-namics sale is still going for a few more hours till the end of today (see THIS post if you missed it! All the sale info plus some of my personal favourites are in there!) so I thought this was a good time to post it!
One of my closest friend's baby girl turned 1 recently (her and my little Gman are a couple of months apart in age) and I made this banner for her.
I didn't use any stamps, just textured card stock and a bunch of different MFT Die-namics sets. I popped up the circles with sticky foam dots to add a little bit of dimension and adhered everything else with my Tomboy Mono Multi.
I created the bows from felt and MFT's (retired) Jumbo Beautiful Bow Die-namics - I linked to a similar set that makes smaller bows, but I've never gotten rid of my set as I use it all the time when making banners like this and love it! I glued the bow together with hot glue and it's used to conceal the ends of the twine where it hangs on the wall.
Buttons are from my stash - I still have a few lifetimes supply of those and still reach for them from time to time!
I sewed the buttons on with bakers twine and used the same length of twine to basically sew all the banners together. It's a little more time consuming doing it that way but the end result is worth it!
