I have to keep reminding myself what day it is for only being Tuesday night (or reeeaalllyy early Wednesday morning depending what timezone you're in) I keep thinking it's later in the week!
I'm glad I checked my planner b/c having my days screwed up can screw up my schedule and I might have missed getting my card made for this week's Color Throwdown challenge:
Here's the card I came up with for it:
This is a 4Bar Size Card
I used the new Make Yourself at Home stamp set from MFT - I just LOVE the sentiments in this set - it gives you so many card options!
I stamped all the images onto Distress Watercolor card stock with Versafine Onyx Black ink then embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then used 3 different Distress inks to watercolour them in - super easy.
The background was created by sponging the Pumice Stone ink over the MFT Cascading Scallop stencil, just using heavier pressure near the centre of the card and lightening up as I pulled the ink outward.
I finished off the inside by stamping the inside with the loveseat using the Blueprint Sketch Distress ink, and stamped another of the sentiments in the set and that was it!
This post feels naked without a video doesn't it? I DID film one - just running so insanely behind so I'm not positive at the moment I'm typing this up if I'll get it edited and uploaded or not - but I will try!
ETA: My OCD won out, that plus I feel worse than when I did when I typed up this post, so I haven't made anything else to film and share so this will have to do!
