Lawn Fawn Lovable Legands | Birthday Card for Grandma | Copic Markers

Well folks my chest cold didn't end with the weekend (insert sad face) so I'm feeling and sounding like crap - but I did the voiceover on this video anyway. One of the drawbacks of working from home is not getting sick days, and while I have a goal of having "extra" cards and videos done up ahead of time for just such occasions - it's still not something I've been able to manage. One of these days though.....!

Anywho - before my cold really started to set in I got this card made for my Grandma. Her 82nd birthday is coming up in a couple of days and the minute I saw the Loveable Legends stamp set from Lawn Fawn I KNEW I had to make her a card with the Loch Ness Monster image:

My Grandma was born in Scotland and I've heard stories of Nessie all my life. It's at the top of my bucket list to visit Scotland some day - some day!

So I made her this card using the LF Loveable Legends set and several other LF Lawn Cuts sets (links to all of them are in the supplies). I also pulled out my neglected Copics to color in Nessie as well as the birthday hat and the balloons (I used G20, G24, G28, R20, V25, V22, V20 and 0).

I also pulled out some Stickles which is something I haven't used in I can't even remember how long. With all the shimmer markers and whatnot and the foil craze it seems Stickles have gone the way of the dinosaur - but I still enjoy them!
