Hello everyone! It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! I've had a lot of people ask me if anyone can play along with this challenge - and yes you can! If you check out the Color Throwdown blog HERE there is info on the right sidebar that explains the rules for submitting your creation for the challenge. Every Wednesday a new one is posted and all of us on the team post what we made for it then it's up to you to create something with those colors. It's fun and I hope more of you join in!
Here's this week's challenge:
When I was thinking up what I wanted to make with these colors I knew IMMEDIATELY what stamp set I had to use:
The new Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp set was of course perfect for this, and because I'm legit obsessed and will be buried in sequins otherwise I made another shaker card!
Now that I know how easy it is to manipulate the Scotch foam tape (aka "The Precious") to make circle shakers like this (I've shown it in a previous video, and I show how in this one too. I didn't figure this out on my own I learned it from one of Kristina Werner's videos) I don't avoid making them anymore.
I used Copics! LOL I've been SO into watercolour for a while now I just don't reach for my Copics as much - but I still love them and for images like this they're perfect.
And of course the inside - y'all know (and if you're new here you now know) I can't finish a card without finishing the inside too. I don't feel like a card is "finished" until there's something on the inside too - even if it's just a stamped sentiment or a strip of patterned paper - something!
To see how this card came together check out my video below:
