Hello everyone! I had some fun with watercolours over the past couple of days, and was up till 1am this morning editing the MASSIVE amount of footage I had from watercoloring all these images (first time ever that I maxed out the memory card in my camera before finishing a project LOL), and then let it upload overnight. It's a LONG video - and side note I had originally planned to just play music during the colouring parts but apparently it's easy for me to talk y'all's ears off so I blabber through the whole video :P.

I decided to use 3 different types of watercolours for these - just for fun. I wasn't doing a comparison of them or trying to prove which is better - as they're all different and vastly different price points (the Loew Cornell (aka Artist Loft) being the cheapest, then the Peerless in the middle and Gansai Tambi being the most expensive of the 3).
I really love these pre-printed watercolour panels from Suzy. I think they're adorable and I just enjoy sitting down and watercoloring them in. People seem to get hung up on their size (these ones are standard A2) as they find it limiting to use them on an A2 card - but I kind of like being able to keep the rest of the card simple and let the image and colouring take the focus. Heck y'all know I don't have trouble embellishing/blinging/going overboard on my other cards at times so this is a nice change of pace!
You can see better in the video the shimmer/sparkle from the Clear Wink of Stella I added at the end - it just gave it that extra something!
You can see the shimmer on the balloons here a bit better - though a picture never does it justice!
I used Liquid Appliqué on their tails - I literally can't remember the last time I used Liquid Appliqué - and first bottle I grabbed (because of course I have more than one) was completely dried out - but I'd had it for YEARS (probably close to 10) so I wasn't surprised. The second bottle was good to go though. It's such a fun product - I'll have to make a point of using it more (ideas are starting to roll...).
Finally here's card #3!
