Well I hope y'all are settled in with a coffee (or tea/cocoa for you non-coffee lovers (the horror! I kid.....but seriously tho...) - or if you're reading this as it goes live and it's later in the evening a glass of wine - whatever floats your boat LOL! Anywho - all that to say this is going to be a LOOONNGGG post! Lots going on.
First and foremost - I'm a Guest Designer this month over on the Color Throwdown blog! How fun is that? They post a new challenge every Wednesday over on their blog, and I'll be playing along each week throughout the month. I always have the best intentions of playing along with challenges like this - and at least for this month I don't have any excuses now LOL! They're fun and a good way to think outside the box and get the creative juices flowing - make sure to check them out!
So not only that, I filmed the card I made for today, and decided to use it to kick off my 2016 Valentine Card Video Series - I've had people asking for months (well over a year I think really) when I'll start doing series again - and the time's finally here! I make no promises as to how many I'll be able to do - but I've got high hopes so we'll see what happens.
Nothing like doing a Valentine card in total non-traditional colors too - but that's what made it more fun:

I've had this SSS Bear Necessities stamp set and matching dies sitting here for way too long - is this not the cutest thing ever?
I'm also loving the Scripty Big Hugs die - I'll admit when I ordered it I imagined it as a lot bigger for some reason, then when it showed up I thought it was so small - but for this card it's PERFECT. And it's the perfect size to go with the sentiment set too so I'm happy!
I honestly haven't bothered putting the Distressed Patterns stamp set away - it sits on my desk as I reach for it on the regular.

SOOOO many fabulous products (a ton of which are on their way here. I couldn't resist - and with the Valentine series I'll be using a lot of them). FYI I've received a lot of e-mails/comments/messages regarding the announcement of the MFT 2016 Creative Team and me no longer being on it. I've addressed it in the upcoming Q&A videos that will be posted hopefully soon! 2016 is already seeing a lot of changes for me - and I'm determined to focus on the positive and it's all onward and upward. OK that's enough for now this is a crazy long post! :)
