Hey everyone! Between last night and today I had brief times where I was actually able to sit down and be crafty (LOL), and ended up making this card:
I started with the watercolour background - which was just me playing around in all honesty! I taped down a couple pieces of watercolour card stock, got them wet with water then dropped on some color from my Gansai Tambi watercolour palette and left it to dry (THE hardest part for me. I have so little patience when it comes to watercolour so leaving it alone drives me bonkers LOL!). I posted just the backgrounds on my Instagram account, and then needed to decide what to do with them!
So with this one I made the card you see now. I thought the blue/green background would look nice with MFT's Toasty Greetings set, so I pulled that out and it's coordinating Die-namics dies.
I watercolored in the images with the same watercolour palette, and once they were dry I popped them onto the background with dimensionals.
The sentiment was stamped and embossed with detail white embossing powder, and the die cut was also popped up with dimensionals.
I used a Sno Cone card stock (one of my go-to favourite colors of MFT's color line) base for my card instead of white (which lately I seem to always be using white) which made the watercolour "scene" pop a little more I think.
I finished off the inside by stamping another sentiment from the same set and that was it!
