Hey everyone! It's Saturday, and for me the end to what turned out to be a very rough week. Rather than sit and whine about it on here (who wants to hear that LOL?!), I made a card, got the pics of it and am posting it on here before I mail it out to a friend on Monday (late - but hey it's a start LOL!).
I mulled over what to create with this watercolour background (if you remember my previous post with the snowman card - I made that background at the same time while playing around with my Gansai Tambi set the one night), and for some reason stars stuck in my head. So I pulled out 2 different sets of star Die-namics dies and got to die cutting.
I die cut the stitched stars from vellum, and used tiny dots of Ranger Multi Medium Matte to adhere them, and then disguised the adhesive by adhering the card stock stars and gems on top ;).
I finished off the inside with a stamped sentiment and stamped the stars by "painting" the stamps with the same colors of watercolours from the Gansai Tambi palette - you won't get "crisp" images doing that but the colors matched the background on the front of the card plus it just kind of ties it all together (and honestly I was too lazy to pull out my ink pads as everything was sitting at my fingertips LOL!).
