MFT November Release Countdown Day 1: More Cocoa

I couldn't resist making another card with the Hot Cocoa Cups Die-namics and Hug in a Mug stamp set. This time I paired them with the Stitched Pinking Edge Square STAX Die-namics (say that 3x fast LOL) and the new Winter Waves Background stamp.

I die cut the "steam" from vellum and adhered it with Ranger Multi Medium Matte adhesive. The pinking edge squares and the marshmallows I sponged with a bit of Kraft dye ink to add a bit of dimension to them.

For embellishments I added a little enamel heart from my stash, and some white enamel dots just because I could ;).

I finished off the inside with another sentiment from the set, stamped some snowflakes with the Sno Cone ink then added another enamel heart and that was it!

MFT November Release Countdown Day 2: Hot Cocoa Cups

Well we're getting really close now! Before I post my card I wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to all the nice comments y'all have been leaving on my posts lately! I read every single one of them and they really make my day! (((hugs)))

I had a lot of fun with this card - one thing turned into another and I ended up creating a shaker card with all the elements I amassed LOL!

I am loving the new Hot Cocoa Cups Die-namics, after I die cut and assembled the pieces I coated the "cocoa" and the heart with some Clear Pico Embellisher (similar to Glossy Effects just not as thick). I sponged a little Chocolate Brown ink onto the whip cream and tapped the sponge on it too to make it look like it had been sprinkled with cocoa.

For the shaker elements I mixed 3 different colors of Prills (MFT is carrying them now - they're linked in the supplies. They're basically tiny balls of plastic in varying sizes and come in a ton of colors - and they give the most satisfying "shaker sound" to your cards LOL!) then added some sequins from my stash. 

The inside of the card I finished with a sentiment from the Hug in a Mug stamp set - and the heart is actually stamped with Cherry Crisp ink but for whatever reason my camera picked it up as super dark! It's the same color as the red on the front of the card anyway.

More Quilted Cards!

OK I'm back with the last 3 quilted cards I made after posting the first 3 last night. These 3 are all 4.25" square cards:

I cut apart this sentiment in order to make it stamp on 3 lines instead of all across one line.

For card #2 I used the sentiment as-is, but adjusted the die cut by running the smallest Stitched Fishtail Flags Die-namics die through my machine twice to make each end the same. After that I stamped and embossed the sentiment, added some hemp and enamel dots from my stash and that was it!

For my last card I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum, and backed it with some Tropical Teal card stock so that it stood out a little more among all the patterns in the "quilt".
