Hello again everyone! It's been quite some time since I've had a chance to play along with MFT's Design Team challenges - but I was able to participate in this one and it's a fun one!
Here's MFT's blurb on the challenge:
Brown paper packages tied up with strings…these are a few of My Favorite Things. Tag, you’re it! Time to embellish those pretty packages with tags accented by our extensive collection of holiday-appropriate Die-namics. MFT has the tools and our team is bringing the imagination so dive into those last minute details - Christmas is just around the corner.
Make sure to check out MFT's blog post for all the links to the other DT members playing along!
I created a set of 3 tags with specific gifts in mind - I have some gold wrapping paper in my Christmas stash and think these tags will look PERFECT with the finished gifts (which I don't have wrapped or anything b/c I never do that 'till the last minute as always) - so you'll just have to imagine them on the gifts *wink*:
I pulled out the first Tag Builder Blueprints Die-namics set to make the base for these tags, and to cut the sentiment strip as well.
I then stamped the bases with snowflakes using my Delicata Golden Glitz ink (LOVE!) and Black Licorice ink.
I used a sentiment from the Joyous Christmas Sentiments set and embossed it with gold embossing powder, then popped the sentiment strip up on the tag with dimensionals.
I had to die cut and emboss some snowflakes of course b/c I am STILL obsessed with them - it's hard not to add them to everything I make lately LOL! Then to finish them all off I adhered some sequins and tied on some black cord and that was it!
