Well I had a small amount of "mindless" time tonight - I say mindless because I wanted to make a card but had no plan and no idea what I was doing LOL! It's been a REALLY long day.
So I pulled out a background stamp, and my Gansai Tambi watercolours, and then just applied the watercolours to the stamp. I've done a video on this already - last time it was rainbow colors, this time I wanted to do Christmas colors - specifically red and green.
This was the end result:
This was the first impression of the card stock to the watercolored stamp - I did get 2 more (each one gets lighter and lighter) and plan on turning them into cards as well - but as usual time got away from me before I could get to it!
I didn't want to cover up the background much - so I stamped a sentiment onto vellum with Versamark and embossed it with black embossing powder (so far the ONLY time I like using black EP is on vellum - otherwise it's just a nope).
I die cut some stars from Gold Shine card stock (still loving this stuff and want to use it on all the cards!) and added a few sequins and that finished it off.
I kept the inside simple and just added a few more die cut stars - there was enough of the "scrap" shine card stock left to cut these three and of course you can't let it go to waste! *wink*
