July is almost over!!! I swear this month flew by faster than anything - I can't believe it's almost August and yet again we're counting down to another MFT release! I do feel like my stamping "mojo" is starting to come back though so stay tuned! This is an awesome release with SOOO many fabulous products (I say that every month tho don't I? It's true!!) that it's almost impossible for my mojo to not come back LOL!
Make sure to click on over to the MFT blog for all the sneak peek info, all the product videos (courtesy of yours truly - I've been doing all that behind-the-scenes every month) plus links to all the other DT member's blog posts. It's worth checking out!
For today's card I used the new Scribble Roses and Scribble Roses Overlay Die-namics - they're so pretty:
To create the roses I smooshed watercolour card stock onto my craft sheet after applying 3 different dye inks and spraying it with water (I've shown that in numerous videos - I'll start doing videos again soon I promise!). After I was happy with it I die cut that with the Scribble Roses Die-namics.
The Scribble Roses Overlay Die-namics were cut from white card stock. I was just going to leave them white but didn't like that so I sponged the same colors of ink onto them before adhering them over the watercolored pieces.
It's hard to see in the pictures (I really need to practice my photo-taking skills - that's been on my "to-do list" since forever) - but I stamped the Abstract Background onto the white card stock with Versamark and embossed it with detail white embossing powder. It gave it a cool look without taking away the focus from the fabulous flowers!
I quickly finished off the inside by inking up one of the sentiments from the new Encouraging words set with the same 3 inks I used for the flowers and that was it!
