I had a bit of "playtime" yesterday, and it was one of the few times that I had the card already planned out. Every once in a while ideas will pop in my head in the middle of the night (and it's usually ones related to my "to-do list" or bills to pay, chores to do etc etc) - so I always keep pen and paper by my bed to jot them down. This card popped in my head so I scribbled down all the info right down to the layout and stamps I wanted to use - which makes it a LOT easier to create when I DO find the time.
I've had this Mama Elephant Up and Away set for some time now and FINALLY got a chance to use it - is it not adorable? I've also been itching to use these new Simon Says Stamp dies and sentiment stamps after waiting for FOREVER for them to arrive (not their fault - there was some big issue at the border with Canadian customs that lasted for nearly a month - it was ridiculous). I LOVE these word dies - and I linked to a couple different combo options as they have different "sets" combined and all that.
I used Copics to color in the images, and just fussy cut out the images but there is a die set available for them. I coated the balloons with my Clear Wink of Stella (that my camera was actually able to pick up a bit of!) so they've got a bit of shimmer.
