Hello everyone! I have another post on how I organize my crafty things today - and this one focuses on colouring mediums. And since I LOVE to colour this is something I have a lot of, a lot of variety of, and tend to re-organize a lot LOL! But I've been using the same "system" for quite some time now and kept meaning to share it - and finally got the push I needed as it was the theme for this month's MFT Organization for Your Creative Space.
Make sure you check out MFT's blog post as there are several other MFT DT members sharing what they do so there's tons of inspiration.
I use an IKEA RASKOG cart to store most of my colouring supplies - and I devised a make-shift cover for it to keep a certain little someone from getting into it and eating some of the supplies LOL!
I found it easiest to do a video this time to explain it all:
As always you can watch directly on YouTube HERE <-----click!
Here's the link to my Organization/Storage/Studio category on my blog that I mention in the video. I've got a lot of blog posts as well as a few videos in there that I've done over the years.
And here are a few links - like I mentioned in the video there's a fair bit of things I use that are re-purposed/found locally/discontinued etc etc so I'll link to what I can. Obviously though a lot of it is to hopefully inspire you to think outside of the "crafty" box when it comes to organization - soup cans are fabulous (and practically free) for organization LOL!
IKEA RASKOG Cart (it comes in 3 colours now and is cheaper (Canadian $) than I remember - I'm still pretty sure I paid $79 for mine - still totally worth it IMO)
Stamp-n-Storage Marker Nook (these are a good 2" wider than the ones I have and show in the video - so they hold a lot more markers in one unit)
