Aaaannddd just like that the weekend is over :P. I hope y'all enjoyed it - I spent a lot of it (slowly) decluttering and organizing as there is still a lot that needs to be done around this house before baby arrives! I also spent part of it crafting with some of the new MFT goodies ;).

I had a hard time deciding what to make with the new Candy Jars Die-namics and the Candy Jar Companions stamp set - there are SO many options with them I seriously could have made a ton of cards if I'd had the time LOL.
I had to go with the peeps though b/c they're adorable - and I remembered I had Fun Flock in my stash and of course I had to use it. I had to hold myself back from covering them ALL in flocking - but I thought it looked better with just my main peep being all cute and fuzzy.
I coated the Cotton Candy die cut peep with liquid glue then poured the Fun Flock over it (I use a coffee filter to contain it and then transfer the excess back into the container - super easy) and pressed it in before the glue set. After tapping off the excess I went over the stamped "face" with a black marker to deepen it a bit.
The die cut "speech bubble" is from the new Stitched Speech Bubble Die-namics - the MFT February Free with $60 product (you get it for free with orders over $60 during the month of February) - LOVE these! To get the whole piece stitched I die cut a piece of white card stock with the large stitched die from the new Blueprints 22 Die-namics then ran it through my machine again with the Stitched Speech Bubble die.
I did the same thing to create the "hills" and just used the two other Stitched Speech Bubble Die-namics in the set.
The background is the new Polka Dot Background stamp that I inked up with Sno Cone ink then dabbed off the color randomly with a microfiber cloth to make it faded and splotchy here and there.
I finished off the inside of the card with some more die cut peeps and a sentiment from the Candy Jar Companions set and that was it!
