Hello everyone! MFT has another monthly Design Team challenge for you - this one is Die-namics Design, and for February we're all focusing on the Sentiments category of Die-namics. SO many things you can do with them!
Make sure you head over to the MFT blog for all the links to the other DT members playing along to see what they've created!
For my first card I used the Desert Bouquet stamp set to create a background with several MFT Dye inks. I then ran the card stock through my Big Shot with the 'Celebrate' die from the LLD Accent It - Celebrate Die-namics set.
I stamped the 'your day' from the Celebrate Big stamp set with Black Licorice Hybrid ink before popping that piece with the die cut sentiment up on foam tape on a piece of Black Licorice card stock that I die cut with the large Blueprints 2 Die-namics die.
I finished off the inside by stamping the same flowers and another sentiment from the Celebrate Big set with Black Licorice Hybrid ink.
For my second card I used all the same inks, but went in a totally different direction LOL! I smushed the dye inks onto an acrylic block then picked up the color with a wet brush and flicked the color over a piece of watercolour card stock.
Once I was happy with it and it was dry I ran the watercolour card stock through my Big Shot with the 'birthday' die from the Happy Birthday Die-namics set. I kept all the "inner" parts of the die cut, then ran the die through the machine again - this time with Ripe Raspberry card stock.
I inlaid the Ripe Raspberry die cut in the splattered card stock, and adhered all the little inner pieces. I then decided to really make the "birthday" pop so I coated it with my Imagine Crafts Sparkle Pico Embellisher (basically Glossy Accents with a bit of shimmer) - LOVE how that turned out! :)
I finished off the inside of the card with a bit more splatter and another stamped sentiment from the Celebrate Big stamp set and that was it!
