It's hard to believe January is almost over and we're starting another countdown for MFT - their February release is jam-packed with amazing products! I kept my card for today pretty simple - I used the new Blueprints 22 Die-namics along with the new Spring Tulips stamp set and coordinating Die-namics:
I used the new Houndstooth Background stamp on the Sno Cone card stock with Sno Cone ink - purposely not inking it up or stamping it perfectly. Sometimes I prefer the "distressed" look rather than it being stamped perfectly (even though *my* version of "distressed" is still pretty clean and OCD compared to the real thing LOL!).
The tulip stamp and Die-namics along with the sentiment are from the new Spring Tulips set and coordinating Die-namics set. I stamped the tulips onto their matching die cut with Black Licorice Hybrid ink then colored them in with Copics. The sentiment I actually cut apart (doing that more and more lately - it used to kill me to cut apart my stamps - again the OCD thing - but you get so much more use out of them if you do. And you can always put them back together to stamp them as they were intended) to fit part of the sentiment onto the die cut heart.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the first part of the sentiment onto this strip die cut from the Blueprints 22 set and adding another stamped, coloured and die cut tulip and that was it!
