We're down to day 3 for MFT's February release countdown! Head on over to the MFT blog to see all the peeks (if you're not subscribed to their blog you should be ;)) for today as the cards and whatnot I share on here so far have only used a *few* of the products being released this month! Crazy fun :).
Anywho I was in the mood for another "girl OR guy" card (I love ones that can do double-duty and I never have enough masculine cards on hand it seems) - and so this one was created:
I technically don't have a video for this one BUT if you watch the product review videos for the new Ride the Wave Die-namics and Wavy Greetings Die-namics I show this whole card front coming together ;).
I embossed the sentiment and the stars with silver embossing powder - love how it shines on the Black Licorice card stock!
This was one of those REALLY rare times that I didn't line the inside with a light-coloured card stock. Normally I would so that you can write with a ball point pen and it will actually show up - but I thought this would look so cool if you write with a gel pen on the black card stock (even though I tend to loathe gel pens for writing - I always have trouble with them - I think it's because I tend to write too quickly and don't have the patience to write slow enough so the pen doesn't skip). I stamped and embossed the sentiment and stars with the silver embossing powder just like on the card front and that was it!
