Hey everyone! We're halfway through this week's 5 Days to an Organized Crafty Stash and today we're focusing on how we organize all our MFT Die-namics dies.
If you missed the previous 2 posts you can check them out here:

Make sure to check out MFT's blog post for a TON of great info, plus links to all the other DT member's blogs with their storage systems, plus a giveaway!
So I've had a good system going for a while for my Die-namics storage, the only thing I hadn't done yet (and have been putting off) was labelling all the different dies/die sets.
Again MFT's come to the rescue with free printable labels that list ALL their Die-namics sets:
Just like my previous 2 posts I printed off the files onto these clear label sheets I've had in my stash for years.
Now as for the storage itself this is how I store all my Die-namics:
My die storage is 2 of the biggest wafer die storage containers from StampnStorage and a TON of their magnet cards that come in 2 sizes.
I'm able to fit all my dies on the magnet cards (chipboard backed magnet sheets), and with a lot of my STAX sets I have some of them overlapping just to save on space so that they're not taking up extra cards.
I've started applying the labels I printed out directly to the sheets - this is where it would have been nice to have white labels instead of the clear as they look funny, but in real life I can read the labels easily regardless. I'll be applying the rest of the labels as I have time as it's SO much faster then using a label machine and typing and printing out individual labels. I have a LOT of dies to label!
I didn't put any of my Cover-Up Die-namics onto magnet sheets, at first I did, but I decided to keep them all off magnets as I feel it's not necessary and it keeps the weight and the cost down to just have them in their little section as is. I can flip through them and grab which ever one I need.
I applied labels to the back of all the Cover-Up Die-namics so I can see what's what. With the majority of the other dies I'll be applying the labels to the magnet sheets.
The dividers between the sets I just made by cutting down some heavyweight card stock from my stash that I then rounded the corners on and applied labels to for the different categories.
The categories I use and how I have them stored pretty much follows along how MFT have them organized on their site. It's easier for me to find what I'm looking for as I know what category a set would be in (Blueprints, STAX, Nature etc etc) when I'm flipping through the containers.
I decided now that I'm finally organizing my MFT clear sets to start storing their coordinating Die-namics dies (if they have them) with the sets if they're the type of dies that I would ONLY use with the stamps. If the dies are ones I could use for other things, then I'll store them in the containers with the rest. Outline dies like these though that are meant to cut out the stamped images I'll keep with the stamps as I usually end up using them anyway so now I'll only have to reach for the set.
The only drawback to this system is that it gets REALLY heavy with the containers, magnet sheets and Die-namics. Like I said I have a LOT of dies and am now on my second large container (which hold over 80 sheets) which for a lot of people might be too much. There are smaller containers on their site and smaller bundles of magnet sheets as well.
There's another giveaway going on today on the MFT blog so be sure to head on over there to enter!
