I ended up making 2 cards for today - I couldn't stop after one. I LOVE this new Be Original stamp set and All-Star High Tops Die-namics dies - SO many ways to use them.
For this one I pulled out the new Arrows Abound stencil and created my own ink mist with some drops of Gumdrop Green dye ink refill in a Mini Mister and added some water (I didn't measure just eyeballed it - maybe 10 drops max and then filled the mini mister till it was about 3/4 full).
I then taped down the stencil over some Smooth White card stock and sprayed over it with my ink mix and this was the result. It dried quickly, and while it dried I did the same thing to the inside of the card.
After creating the sneaker with the All-Star High Tops Die-namics (if you watch MFT's product video on that I show how I put this one together in it), I threaded through some white hemp cord for the "laces" and tied it in a bow.
I finished off the inside with the stencil and spray like I said and stamped the sentiments and icons from the Be Original set - love all the mixing and matching you can do with them!
For my second card I kept things a little simpler but stuck with the same color combo.
I wound up a bunch of thick black cord and adhered it behind the sneaker before matting it with a Pinking Edge Square STAX Die-namics die cut.
And then finished the inside with more sentiments and the heart from the Be Original stamp set and called it a day!
