It's Bellarific Friday late on a Saturday! If you missed my earlier post today you can check it out here (it's the one with those watercolored leaves y'all can catch a glimpse of in the video).
In the video I mention a wedding card I made for Craftsy using the same embossing idea as I use on this card - you can check out that post HERE.
OK on to the card - the challenge for this week's Bellarific Friday was a sketch:
So here was the card I made:
I used the Uptown COUPLE Emily and Ryan under the umbrella image and embossed them on die cut Razzle Berry card stock with detail white embossing powder.
I paper pieced the umbrella, and added some definition to it with Copics, and some sparkle with Fruit Punch Stickles.
This ended up being a less than 20 minute card, and if I did it over again without my kids interrupting me, and the whole idea in my head (I was flying by the seat of my pants as I was filming the whole process LOL) it'd prolly be a 15 minute or less card.
The only reason I even KNOW how long (or rather not) this took as I was watching the clock while timing the girls practicing their piano LOL! I get asked a LOT about exactly how long it takes me to make a card and/or color in images and 99% of the time I couldn't tell you. I don't time the process, it's therapeutic to me. And most of the time I end up being interrupted by one thing or another and film and create in spurts. Whatever works! :)
I kept the inside super simple by stamping the image again with my go-to Memento Angel Pink ink and called it a day.

Next week's Bellarific Challenge is Buttons or BOWS! Use either a button or a bow on your card using a Bella image.. or you can even use BOTH a button and a bow
If you play along (guidelines are to use current Stamping Bella images) you just need to e-mail Emily a pic of your finished card by Thursday Oct 30 for it to be added to the Bellarific Friday post!
